A hilarious comedy of manners set in America's Middle West, Star of Hope was the 1995 Drammy Winner for Outstanding Original Production in Portland Theater. Star of Hope presents a compassionate story of a struggle for truthful emotional connections among family and friends in a Wisconsin household.
Directed by Associate Artistic Director Lorraine Bahr, Star of Hope features a multi-award recognized company of performers. Nan Gatchel and Rick Mullins will reprise their roles from the 1995 production. They will be joined on the project by actors, Jared Roylance, Heather Rose Walters, Jeb Pearson and Brittany Burch.
