Anse and Bhule
a theater presentation by Tania Myren

Anse and Bhule is a reworking of Ms Myren's play The Further Adventures of Anse and Bhule in No-man's Land, the 1998 Outstanding Original Production winner.

This project is a collaboration between our New Works in Process and our Video Education programs. Funding has been provided by the Regional Arts and Culture Council, the Miller Foundation and the Kinsman Foundation.

This piece features actors Kelly Tallent, Daniel Hill, Lorraine Bahr, Garfield Wedderburn, Aundre' Barnes, Sean Skvarka with choreography by Keith Goodman and direction by Barry Hunt.

developed throughout 2008 and 2009

Anse and Bhule has had the added journey of adapting the play for the screen. Developed and shot in Oregon with the stage cast and director, the screen adaptation has been colaboratively created with major contributions by Jeb Pearson and holds the final work of Keith Goodman of Dance Gatherer.

Dedicated to the development of young and emerging media artists, Anse and Bhule has been beautifully executed by Art Director Kyle Aldrich and Director of Photography Michael Pritchard.

Major support for this phase of the project has been provided by New Market Productions, Indent Studios, the Regional Arts and Culture Council, the Miller Foundation, Maryhill Museum, Stoel Rives LLP and the Oregon Bureau of Land Management.

Anse and Bhule has an excellent team of design artists including Shawn Willis sound capture, Jesse Munro Johnson sound design, scenic design by Elecia Beebe and Kyle Aldrich, costumes by Trea Taylor, Drew Hanson and Jodi English, props by Ann, Megan and Jean Hodges and make-up by Amber Arpin.
